Entrance test conducted by the Government of Maharashtra that serves as the basis for admission to all Government-run and Government-aided law colleges in Maharashtra (including Government Law College, Mumbai and Indian Law Society Law College, Pune) as well as some private law colleges

2-hour test containing multiple choice questions

Subject areas tested: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge Including Current Affairs, English, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude

(NLSAT)

National level entrance test which serves as the basis for admission to the 3 year LLB (Hons.) programme offered by NLSIU Bangalore

150 minute test divided into two parts: Part A (MCQs) and Part B (subjective questions)

Part A involves negative Marking (0.25 marks for every incorrect answer)

Questions in Part A combine elements from each of the 3 (three) subjects i.e., English Comprehension, Current Affairs, and Critical Reasoning (including logical reasoning and legal aptitude)

Part B comprises of 10 Legal Aptitude/ Reasoning problem-based questions with short answers, and one Current Affairs essay of no more than 500 (five hundred) words
